Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá jedním z vrcholných děl českého hudebního skladatele Petra Ebena, kompozicí Pražské Te Deum 1989. V první části práce je uveden stručný přehled historie hudebního ztvárnění křesťanského hymnu Te Deum od gregoriánského chorálu až po současnost, druhá část je pak zcela věnována hudební analýze příslušného díla.Tato analýza zahrnuje rozbor hudební struktury skladby, dotýká se problematiky pěveckého nácviku a v neposlední řadě se zabývá také sbormistrovskou interpretací. Závěr této kapitoly tvoří komparace dostupných nahrávek skladby s autorskou představou vyjádřenou v partituře. Poslední část práce tvoří přesah do pedagogické praxe, je zde nastíněno využití kompozice při výuce na gymnáziích – jak v rámci poslechových aktivit v hudební výchově, tak v rámci praktické sborové činnosti.

Abstract:

The thesis analyses The Prague Te Deum 1989, one of the best pieces by an important Czech composer, Petr Eben. The first part briefly describes the history of musical interpretations of Te Deum, a Christian hymn, from Gregorian chant to the present. The second part comprises the analysis of the work including the musical structure, the issue of rehearsing and also the choirmaster interpretation. The analysis is concluded with a comparative study of the available recordings and the author’s intention as presented in the score. The last part of the thesis puts the work into pedagogical practice showing the ways the composition can be used at grammar schools, both in music classes and choirs.
