Cílem této bakalářské práce je komparace postavení starosty v České republice a ve Francii. Případy pro komparativní analýzu byly zvoleny na základě právě probíhající diskuse o zavedení přímé volby starostů v České republice. The goal of this thesis is to compare the position of mayors in the Czech Republic and France. These two cases were chosen on the basis of the ongoing debate about possible introduction of the direct mayoral elections in the Czech Republic.
