Effect of inventory differences on net income in the selected company and its tax obligations

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce ukazuje, jak inventarizační rozdíly ovlivnily výsledek hospodaření a daňovou povinnost ve vybraných podnicích. V teoretické části je popsána účetní uzávěrka a práce s ní spojené, jako inventarizace, výpočet výsledku hospodaření a daně z příjmů. Následně je v této části popsána účetní závěrka a s ní související účetní výkazy, kterými jsou rozvaha, výkaz zisku a ztráty, přehled o peněžních tocích. V aplikační části jsou charakterizovány vybrané podniky, jejich způsoby ocenění a odpisování. Dále jsou v této části uvedeny rozvahy a výkazy zisku a ztráty podniků za tři po sobě jdoucí období, inventarizační rozdíly vybraných podniků a jejich vliv na daňovou povinnost.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis shows that inventory differences influenced the economic result and the tax liability in the chosen companies. The theoretical part describes financial statements and the other connected sections such as the inventory, the calculation of the economic result and the income taxes. Accounting statements such as the balance sheet, the profit and loss statement and the cash flow statement; are described in the following section. The practical part of the thesis involves characteristics of the chosen companies, their way of the valuation and the depreciation. There are given balance sheets and profit and loss statements of the companies during the three ensuring period of time. This part describes inventory differences of the chosen companies and their effect on the tax liability.
