The "empeños" of Sor Juana and the Calderonian Models
Abstract:
Sor Juana has been one of the most important authors from the New world. Beside being a great poet she devoted herself to writing plays based on Spanish models. This work is dedicated to pointing out the Spanish models and traits of the author in the work of Sor Juana called Los empeňos de una casa, using as a model the work of Pedro Calderón de la Barca Casa con dos puertas mala es de guardar.
Abstract:
Spisovatelka Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz je jednou ze stěžejních autorek Nového Světa. Kromě toho, že byla vynikající básnířkou psala také divadelní hry, které se inspirovaly ve španělských modelech. Tato práce se zabývá na jedné straně definováním španělských modelů, a na straně druhé zdůrazněním vlastních prvků Sor Juany v díle nazvaném Los empenos de una casa, přičemž jako modelové dílo jsme si vybrali …more
