Vegetation of Čachtice castle hill in western Slovakia
Abstract:
In this thesis I studied grassland vegetation of Čachtice castle hill. The study area is situated in western Slovakia, in the Protected Landscape Area Malé Karpaty. Čachtice castle hill is declared National Nature Reserve subject to the 4th level of nature protection. Of the non-forest habitats the most important are dry grasslands on dolomite bedrock. V této bakalářské práci se věnuji výzkumu travinobylinné vegetace Čachtického hradního vrchu. Studovaná oblast se nachází na západním Slovensku, v Chráněné krajinné oblasti Malé Karpaty. Čachtický hradní vrch je vyhlášen Národní přírodní rezervací, kde platí 4. stupeň ochrany. Z nelesních biotopů jsou významná xerotermní spoločenstva na dolomitickém podloží.
