Glaukom představuje z pohledu oftalmologa jeden z největších sociálních, ekonomických i etických problémů současnosti. Vyřazuje z pracovního procesu osoby v produktivním věku. Glaucoma is the second leading illness in the world, it very important to improve research, searching new patients and treat them. In my diploma thessis I´m studying glaucoma problems, its epidemiology, anatomy and patophysiology, angle closure glaucoma problems, medicamentous, laser and surgical treatment.
