Problems in translating vocabulary connected with the names of holidays and their seasons in Czech & Russian language.
Abstract:
Tato práce si klade za cíl porovnat jednotlivá svátková pojmenování a jejich jazykový výklad v češtině a v ruštině, pokusit se provést komplexní analýzu lexikálního materiálu a na základě excerpovaného materiálu zjistit společného jmenovatele ve způsobu přejímání názvů svátků, porovnat jejich motivaci a také případné diference v obou srovnávaných jazycích.

This thesis deals with the comparison of particular holidays? names and language interpretation in Czech and Russian languages. We tried to make a comprehensive analysis of lexical material and based on the excerpted material to find out a common denominator in the way of transposing the names of holidays as well as to compare their motivation and also the possible differences in the two compared languages …more
