Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je představení viru Myxoma virus, jako původce onemocnění myxomatóza. Toto onemocnění je známé již od roku 1896 a dodnes je smrtelnou hrozbou všech jedinců z čeledi zajícovitých. Na základě vědeckých publikací je v této bakalářské práci popsán jak samotný Myxoma virus, tak onemocnění myxomatóza, a to včetně diagnostiky, nebo historie. Abstract:
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the Myxoma virus as a causative agent of myxomatosis. This disease has been known since 1896 and is still a deadly threat to all individuals of the hare family. Based on scientific publications, this bachelor's thesis describes both the Myxoma virus itself and the infection with myxomatosis, including diagnostics, or history.
