The Financial Evaluation of Established Factoring in the Selected Financial Company and a Proposal for its Further Development

Abstract:

Diplomová práce řeší jednu z forem financování podnikových aktiv. Zabývá se ekonomickou podstatou a principem faktoringu, jakožto způsobem získání peněžních prostředků z obchodních vztahů. V rámci řešení problému, především v teoretické části práce, bylo využito literární rešerše, která vycházela z české i zahraniční odborné literatury. Na základě této rešerše byly popsány základní pojmy a průběh faktoringu. Součástí praktické části bylo zhodnocení, analýza stávajícího způsobu využití a přínos nabízeného produktu v TRINITY BANK a.s. Byla využita analýza trhu, konkurence a prostředí, ve kterém banka působí. Závěrem bylo navrženo řešení zjištěných nedostatků, které je prezentováno v projektové části. Záměrem této práce je zefektivnění a rozvoj faktoringu, získání nových klientů využívajících tento produkt, ekonomický prospěch banky a posílení její konkurenční schopnosti na bankovním trhu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with one of the forms of financing corporate assets. It deals with the economic substance and the principle of factoring as a way of obtaining funds from business relations. Within the solution of the problem, especially in the theoretical part of the thesis, a literature review was used which was based on Czech and foreign literature. Based on this research, basic concepts and the course of factoring were described. The practical part included an evaluation, analysis of the current use and benefits of the offered product in TRINITY BANK a.s. The analysis of the market, competition and the environment in which the bank operates is used. Finally, the solution of the identified shortcomings, which is presented in the project part, was proposed. The aim of this work is to streamline and develop factoring, acquire new clients using this product, economic benefit of the bank and strengthen its competitive ability in the banking market.
