Parents motives for placing a child in a forest class whithin a regular nursery school

Abstract:

Jádrem projektu je rozebrání lesních mateřských škol, prozkoumání motivů rodičů pro umístění jejich dítěte do lesní třídy v běžné mateřské škole a zmapování životního stylu rodičů dětí z lesní třídy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části vymezujeme pojmy a formy předškolního vzdělávání, řešíme historii, obecný vztah člověka k přírodě a roli pedagoga. V praktické části zkoumáme motivy rodičů pro umístění dítěte do lesní třídy při běžné mateřské škole v Mateřské škole Kytička Litoměřice a jejich způsob života. Výsledkem celé práce je zjištění, že hlavním motivem pro výběr lesní třídy je zájem o alternativní způsoby výchovy a vzdělávání, důraz na pobyt v přírodě a spo-lupráce MŠ s rodiči a okolím. Ohledně životního stylu rodičů jsme došli k závěru, že rodiče dětí z lesní třídy žijí více alternativním způsobem života a blíže k přírodě. Například mají zahradu, pěstují si vlastní ovoce a zeleninu, chovají domácí i hospo-dářská zvířata, se svým dítětem tráví více času v přírodě a preferují alternativní způ-soby léčby.

Abstract:

At the heart of the project is dismantling of nursery schools, exploration of parents' motives for placing their child in the forest class within regular nursery school, and mapping a lifestyle of children's' parents from the forest class. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, we define the concepts and forms of pre-school education, we deal with history, the general relation of man to nature and the role of the pedagogue. In the practical part, we examine the moti-ves of parents for placing a child in the forest class at a regular nursery school in the Kindergarten of Kytička Litoměřice and their way of life. The result of the whole work is the finding that the main motive for the se-lection of the forest class is the interest in alternative ways of education and trai-ning, the emphasis on the stay in the nature and the cooperation of the kindergar-ten with parents and their surroundings. Regarding the parents' lifestyle, we came to the conclusion that the parents of the children in the forest class live a more al-ternative way of life and closer to nature. For example, they have a garden, grow their own fruits and vegetables, keep domestic and farm animals, spend more time in the nature with their child and prefer alternative treatment options.
