Abstract:
Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá účastí Austrálie v První světové válce. První část je zaměřena na první operaci v průběhu této války, které se australští vojáci účastnili, tzv. tažení na Gallipoli. Druhá část práce pak zkoumá, jak toto tažení ovlivnilo životy Australanů.
Abstract:
This bachelor's diploma thesis deals with the participation of Australia in the First World War. In the first part, I have focused on the first operation performed by the Australian soldiers (or Anzacs as they are usually called) during this war, the so-called Gallipoli Campaign. In the second part, I have tried to investigate how this Campaign influenced the lives of ordinary Australians.
