Possibilities of transformation of the Moravian Theater Olomouc, c. o., to another legal form

Abstract:

Magisterská práce Možnosti transformace Moravského divadla Olomouc, p. o., na jinou právní formu se zabývá dvěma hlavními tématy. Prvním je ekonomický i právní stav organizace v období 2014–2018 a druhým pak vhodné právní formy na případnou transformaci. Práce je dále rozdělena na čtyři základní části. První část je zaměřena na kulturní politiku a financování kultury v České republice, jak na úrovni státu, tak i na úrovni olomouckého kraje a města Olomouc. Druhá část se věnuje Moravskému divadlu jako příspěvkové organizaci a analýze současného stavu organizace. Třetí část se zabývá příklady transformací divadel jak u nás, tak i v zahraničí, a to konkrétně v Německu a Rakousku. Poslední část práce se zaměřuje na návrh vhodných právních norem, modelů financování a na analyzovaní jejich silných a slabých stránek. Práce si klade za cíl (na základě získaných informací především z výročních zpráv divadla) popsat a analyzovat současný stav organizace a dále navrhnout vhodné právní formy, modely financování a postupy pro možnou transformaci divadla.

Abstract:

The Master's Thesis Possibilities of Transformation of the Moravian Theater Olomouc, c. o., to another legal form deals with two main topics. The first is the economic and legal status of the organization in 2014–2018 and the second is the appropriate legal form for a possible transformation. The thesis is further divided into four basic parts. The first part is focused on cultural policy and culture financing in the Czech Republic at the state level and at the level of the Olomouc region and the city of Olomouc. The second part deals with the Moravian Theater as a contributory organization and analysis of the current state of the organization. The third part deals with examples of theater transformations in our country and abroad, namely in Germany and Austria. The last part of the thesis focuses on the suggestion of appropriate legal norms, financing models and on analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. The aim of the thesis is to describe and analyze the current state of the organization on the basis of the information obtained mainly from the theater's annual reports and to propose suitable legal forms, financing models and procedures for possible theater transformation.
