Occupational Therapy by the clients with tetraplegia - training of setting position and movings

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci jsem se zaměřila na problematiku správného sedu a přesunů u lidí po vysoké míšní lézi, tetraplegiků. V teoretické části jsem podala základní informace o anatomii páteře a míchy a etiologii poranění páteře i s jejími důsledky. Uvádím i standardní postup ve všech fázích rehabilitace u klienta s míšní lézí, se zaměřením na ergoterapii v každé z nich. V druhé polovině jsem se zaměřila na problematiku sedu u tetraplegiků. Popisuji, jak by měl vypadat správný sed a jaké nejčastější chyby vyskytují. Důležitou součástí je i výběr vozíku, který je součástí kapitoly sedu. Dále se věnuji přesunům, kde popisuji jejich typy dle závislosti na asistentovi. Závěrem teoretické části jsou uvedeny kompenzační pomůcky, kde jsou zdůrazněny typy vozíků. V hlavní části uvádím ergoterapeutický postup na klientovi s tetraplegií. Popisuji vstupní vyšetření klienta. Navrhuji krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán a následně ho hodnotím. Uvádím výstupní vyšetření, na jehož základě sestavuji dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán a prognózu onemocnění.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I focused on the issue of correct sitting position and movements in humans after high spinal cord lesion tetraplegics. In the theoretical part I have submitted background information on the anatomy of the spine and spinal cord and the etiology of spinal injury is its consequences. I quote the standard procedure in all stages of rehabilitation for clients with spinal cord lesions, with a focus on occupational therapy in each of them. In the second half, I focused on the issue of seat tetraplegics. It describes how a correct sitting position and what the most common errors occur. An important part is a selection of wheelchair, which is part of the chapter seat. Then we look at movements, describing them as types, depending on the assistent. Finally, the theoretical parts are medical devices, which are highlighted types of wheelchairs. In the main part of Occupational Therapy mention the procedure on the client with tetraplegia. Describe initial examination of the client. Propose short-term Occupational Therapy program and then evaluate it. I state final examination, which compiles the long-term Occupational Therapy program and prognosis.
