Abstract:
This bachelor’s thesis is an analysis of folklore and fiction in Zora Neale Hurston’s two novels Jonah’s Gourd Vine and Their Eyes Were Watching God. The main argument of this thesis is that the novels can be treated as examples of post-modern ethnography.
