Integration of children with visual disabilities

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou integrace dítěte se zrakovým postižením. Jejím cílem je popsat proces integrace dítěte se zrakovou vadou do běžného školského prostředí se zdravými dětmi. V úvodní kapitole jsou shrnuty základní poznatky o zrakových vadách, jejich klasifikaci a příčinách vzniku těchto vad, taktéž o kombinacích zrakové vady s dalším postižením. Nalezneme zde i zmínku o vlivu těchto poruch na psychiku či společenský život dítěte. Následující úsek objasňuje termín integrace, popis její historie a současnosti a k ní se vztahující zákony platné v České republice. Jádrem celé bakalářské práce je popis integračního procesu, dále faktory ovlivňující proces integrace jako jsou pedagogové, asistenti pedagoga, individuální vzdělávací plán, spolužáci a celkové přihlédnutí a přizpůsobení výuky hendikepovanému dítěti. Závěrečná část práce je věnovaná podpoře a cvičení zbytkového zraku a rozvoji kompenzačních smyslů.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the issue of integration of the child with visual disabilities. Its aim is to describe the process of integration of the child with a visual handicap into the regular school environment with healthy children. In the introductory chapter are summarized the basic knowledge about the visual defects, their classification and causes of formation of these defects, also the combinations of visual defects with other disabilities. Even here we find mention of the impact of these disorders on the psyche or social life of the child. The following section explains the term integration, a description of its history and the present and related laws in force in the Czech republic. The core of the whole bachelor thesis is a description of the integration process, further factors affecting the process of integration such are teachers, teaching assistants, individual educational plan, classmates, and the total consideration and the adaptation of teaching handicapped child. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to the support and exercise of residual vision and the development of compensatory senses.
