Abstract:
Tato práce pojednává o historických událostech a lidech, kteří žili v království Dalriada nebo v jeho bezprostřední blízkosti během třetího až devátého století po Kristu. Cílem je porozumět pohanské kultuře předkřesťanského období, stejně jako pozdějším křesťanským obyvatelům tohoto království. Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the historical events and people who lived in or near the kingdom of Dalriada from the third to the ninth century A.D. The aim is to understand the pre-Christian pagan culture as well as the later Christianized population. Secondary focus is placed on Hiberno-Scottish missionaries and their legacy in what survived until today.
