Perpetrators and Prevention of Criminal Offences

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývala pachateli hospodářské kriminality a možností její prevence. Bylo vysvětleno, co je hospodářská kriminalita, kdo ji odhaluje a vyšetřuje, jakým způsobem je statisticky vykazována, na jaké typy se dělí a jsou uvedeny její možné příčiny. Následně byly v práci popsány charakteristiky pachatelů hospodářské trestné činnosti tak, jak jsou uváděny v odborné literatuře. Charakteristika pachatelů byla obohacena o provedený průzkum, přičemž výsledky průzkumu byly následně vztaženy k již zmíněným informacím z odborné literatury. V neposlední řadě obsahuje bakalářská práce důležité informace k prevenci hospodářské trestné činnosti, přičemž za zdroj těchto informací byl kromě odborné literatury vzat i již zmíněný průzkum a vlastní praktické zkušenosti. Za významné lze považovat zjištění, že hospodářská kriminalita není páchána pouze tzv. bílými límečky, ale že ve skupině pachatelů naopak převažují osoby s maximálně středoškolským vzděláním, nižším sociálním postavením a pocházející z dělnického či zemědělského rodinného prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis dealt with perpetrators of economic criminal offences and possibilities of the prevention of this type of criminality. The project explained the term of economic criminality, then it told us, who investigates such criminal offences, how they are statistically showed, how they are divided and finally there are written the possible reasons of this type of criminality. Then there are presented the profiles of perpetrators of economic criminal offences in the way how they are described in expert literature. The perpetrators characterization was enriched with exploration and the results of this exploration were then compared with the information from expert literature. Last but not least, the bachelor thesis contains important information on prevention of economic criminal offences where the expert literature and the exploration, that was carried out, were the sources of the suggested prevention activities. We consider the fact that economic criminality is not committed only by persons from the group so called white collars to be very important because persons with maximally secondary school education, with lower social status and coming from the workers or agricultural family environment form the majority of perpetrators.
