Abstract:
Baklářáská práce se zabývá vývojem rastafariánského hnutí, které se objevilo ve třicátých letech dvacátého století jako výsledek určitých historických a socioekonomických podmínek na Jamajce. Práce popisuje události, které vedly ke vzniku hnutí, analyzuje různé části vývoje a naznačuje kulturní vliv hnutí na jamajskou kulturu.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the development of the Rastafarian movement. The movement emerged in 1930s as a result of the certain historical and socio-economical issues in Jamaica. This work describes events that led to the birth of the movement, analyzes the different phases of the movement’s development and shows the cultural impact of the movement on Jamaican culture.
