Cost Analysis of Medical Performance: Coronary Bypass

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o kalkulaci reálných nákladů souvisejících s konkrétním zdravotnickým výkonem, koronárním bypassem, z pohledu zdravotnického zařízení a výší jeho úhrad ze strany zdravotní pojišťovny. První část práce je zaměřena na shrnutí informací o zdravotnickém systému v ČR a také na teorii týkající se nákladů v podniku a způsobů kalkulací. V druhé části je popsáno konkrétní zdravotnické zařízení a poté jsou analyzovány skutečné náklady na operaci a následnou hospitalizaci související s konkrétní kardiochirurgickou operací. V závěrečné kapitole je rozebrána výše úhrad, které za tento výkon hradí zdravotní pojišťovny a je provedeno srovnání.

Abstract:

This work deals with the analysis of real costs associated with a particular medical intervention - coronary bypass - from the perspective of medical equipment (univeristy hospital) and the amount of the payment from the health insurance company. The first part focuses on the summary of the healthcare system in the Czech Republic and the theory concerning the costs in the organization and methods of calculation. The second part describes the specific medical equipment and analyses the real costs of surgery and hospitalization associated with specific cardiac intervention. The final chapter analyzes the amount of payments from the health insurance. At the end both amounts are compared.
