Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je představením římského císaře a českého krále Karla IV. Cílem je popis osoby Karla IV., jeho momenty ze života a dodatečné budování kultu, coby ideálního historického panovníka v mladší kronikářské tradici. Práce je pokusem upozornit na tmavé a světlé stránky jeho politického myšlení. Zmiňuje událostí, které formovaly jeho osobnost, která se následně dostala do srdcí mnoha lidí. Práce Chronologicky popisuje děje panovníkova života, systematicky líčí celý život vladaře, jeho nejdůležitější události a politické cíle.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis introduces Charles IV, the Roman Emperor and the King of Bohemia. The aim is to describe the personality of Charles IV, important parts of his life and additional creation of his cult as an ideal historical sovereign in younger chronicle tradition. In the thesis there is an attempt to show dark and bright sides of his political thought. It contains events that formed his personality and which later became loved by a lot of people. The thesis chronologically describes the life of Charles IV, the most important events and political goals.
