Perfluorované sloučeniny (PFAS) byly detekovány ve všech složkách životního prostředí včetně živých organismů. Polární charakter těchto kontaminantů způsobuje, že se hromadí převážně v mořích a oceánech. Studium výskytu PFAS a jejich osudu v životním prostředí proto vyžaduje analýzy těchto látek ve vzorcích mořské vody. Perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) have been detected ubiquitously in the environment and biota. Owing to a more polar character of those contaminants, marine waters are their main environmental reservoirs. To assess PFAS environmental occurrence and fate, it is, therefore, necessary to analyze marine water samples for those substances.
