Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá použitím audio-vizuálních prostředků při procvičování gramatiky. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, zda audio-vizuální prostředky motivují žáky k učení a zda je jejich použití efektivní. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části se práce věnuje definici gramatiky, její roli ve výuce a také organizaci vyučování gramatiky ve školách. Práce popisuje různé přístupy k výuce gramatiky. Dále se práce zabývá audio-vizuálními prostředky a specificích jejich použití. V teoretické části je práce je prezentován dosavadní výzkum v oblasti výuky gramatiky a používání audio-vizuálních prostředků ve výuce v České republice. Empirická část diplomové práce se zabývá představením učebních plánů, které byly vytvořeny pro potřeby této diplomové práce. V empirické části práce jsou nejprve představeny skupiny žáků a poté samotné učební plány. Učební plány jsou následně analyzovány na základě poznámek z hodin a zpětné vazby od žáků. Po analýze výsledků následuje zhodnocení naplnění hlavního cíle diplomové práce.

Abstract:

This master’s thesis deals with the use of audio-visual aids in grammar practice. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether audio-visual aids motivate learners to learn better and if their use is effective. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of grammar, grammar’s role in teaching and with the organization of grammar teaching. Furthermore, audio-visual aids and specifics of its use in teaching are described. In the theoretical part, present research of grammar teaching and the use of audio-visual aids at Czech schools is introduced. The empirical part of the thesis deals with lesson plans and its use in lessons. The lesson plans were specifically created for the purposes of the thesis. In the empirical part, firstly, the groups of learners in which the research took place are introduced. Secondly, the lesson plans are analysed on the base of the field notes and the feedback from the learners. Lastly, the outcomes are analysed, and the aims of the thesis are assessed.
