Práce zkoumá změny ve výstupech volebního systému prvního v cíli ve Velké Británii a jejich možnou souvislost se zavedením devoluce. Zkoumané období zahrnuje volby 1945-2015. Práce se zaměřuje především na schopnost volebního systému prvního v cíli poskytnout vítězi dostatečný bonus pro sestavení jednobarevné vlády a redukovat počet stran v systému. The thesis examines the changes in electoral outcomes of the first-past-the-post electoral system in the United Kingdom and how devolution could efect these changes. The thesis deals with time period from elections in 1945 to 2015 and concentrates on the ability of the first-past-the-post electoral system to award winner a bonus large enough to produce a single party majority as well as its ability …more
