A Hand-held Detector for Metal Material Recognition \nl{}

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá rozborem vhodných principů využívaných u ručních detektorů kovů. Cílem práce bylo vybrat jeden z uvedených principů, který je vhodný pro návrh ručního detektoru kovů s ohledem na rozpoznávání různých kovových materiálů. Jako nejvhodnější princip byl vybrán princip zázněje. Za účelem ověření vybraného principu bylo navrženo schéma zapojení a konstrukce detektoru. Tento návrh byl dle možností realizován a následně ověřen na správnou funkci a to včetně rozpoznávání různých vybraných kovových materiálů. Jako vhodný způsob signalizace byl zvolen akustický tón a to přímo na detektoru. Při návrhu a realizaci detektoru byl kladen důraz na jednoduchou obsluhu a opravitelnost. Výsledky z měření jsou také součástí této práce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with analysis of principles used for the hand held metal detectors. The aim of this thesis is to choose the most suitable method for identifying different metal materials by hand-held detectors. As a approprite principle is presented method using beat oscillation. In order to verify this method, a connection scheme was designed and the detector was built. This proposal was realised and followed by verifying of function including identifying selected metal materials. As a way of signalization was choosen acustic tone. Emphasis was put on easy operation and fixing during the detector designing. Measurement results are also a part of this thesis.
