Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat ekonomickou transformaci venkovských obcí Ústeckého kraje. Je však nezbytné nejdříve definovat, co je v tomto případě venkovská obec. The main purpose of this master thesis is an analysis of rural Usti region municipalities in the period of economic transformation. At first it is necessary to define what rural municipality is. At the same time, there would be presented a whole range of authors's attempts for construction of general rural definition.
