Life in the mining colonies in Ostrava
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá popisem života v hornických koloniích v Ostravě. Zaměřuje se na několik hornických kolonií ve městě a každodenní život jejich obyvatel. Zkoumá vznik kolonií, jejich rozvoj a migraci nových obyvatel. Pamětníci zde popisují, jak vypadal běžný život v dobách jejich dětství a nabízí srovnání s dnešním životem v koloniích.Abstract:
This thesis describes life in the mining colonies in Ostrava. It focuses on several mining colonies in the city and everyday life of the residents. It will also examine information of the colonies, their development and the migration of new residents. Witnesses describe how ordinary life looked life in the times of their childhood and bring comparison with today´s life in colonies.
