Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou překladu expresivních a nespisovných slov a slovních spojení z češtiny do angličtiny. Jsou zde popsány rozdíly mezi vyjadřováním expresivity v angličtině a češtině. Jako materiál k analýze byla použita Haškova kniha "Osudy dobrého vojáka Švejka" a její dva překlady do angličtiny. Bakalářská práce srovnává, který z překladů zachovává více z původní expresivity. The thesis deals with the problem of translating of expressive and non-standard words and collocations from the Czech language into English. It describes the differences between these two languages in the field of expressivity.
