Abstract:

Dokumentární film s hranými prvky divákovi přiblíží osobnost Ing. Miroslava Medala, dnes již nežijícího československého vynálezce, konstruktéra a člověka s nesmírně zajímavým životním příběhem. Snímek bude pohledem do světa tohoto muže v profesní i osobní a lidské rovině. Přinese zajímavé poselství v dnešní době, kdy je výroba často přesouvána do zahraničí, čímž klesá míra soběstačnosti naší země. Diváka provede životem vynálezce Medala od útlého dětství, které prožil ve mlýně obklopen nádhernou přírodou CHKO Brdy, přes prvotní konstrukce el. zařízení, přes jeho nelehkou cestu k vytouženému inženýrskému diplomu až po období, kdy konstruoval složité automaty pro výrobu světelných zdrojů. Za svůj přínos vědě a technice později obdržel dvě vysoká státní vyznamenání. Teoretická část bakalářské práce přiblíží historii konstrukce elektrických zařízení v Československu, zejména v podniku Tesla Holešovice (tehdy monopolního výrobce světelných zdrojů v zemi). Populární formou na jednoduchém příkladu žárovky popíše její části a vysvětlí, jakou úlohu při její výrobě sehrává kondensátorový svářecí automat, vynález inženýra Medala. Téma doplní také historický kontext a spojení protagonisty s dobovými událostmi a slavnými jmény. Práce zároveň popíše kompletní proces výroby dokumentárně hraného filmu právě na příkladu navrhovaného filmu "Konstruktér".

Abstract:

The documentary with acted elements introduces to the viewer the personality of Eng. Miroslav Medal, a Czechoslovak inventor, designer and a man with an extremely interesting life story. The film will be a look into the world of this man on a professional, personal and human level. It will bring an interesting message in these days, when manufacture is often moved abroad, thus reducing the level of self-sufficiency of our country. The spectator will be guided by the life of the inventor Medal from his childhood, which he spent in a mill surrounded by beautiful nature of the Brdy Protected Landscape Area, through the initial constructions of electric devices, despite his difficult path to the coveted engineering degree, until the time when he designed complex automata for the production of light sources. He later received two high state awards for his contribution to science and technology. The theoretical part of the Bachelor thesis describes the history of electrical devices designed in Czechoslovakia, especially in the company Tesla Holešovice (then a monopoly manufacturer of light sources in the country). In a popular form, on a simple example of a light bulb, it describes its parts and explains the role the condenser welding machine, the invention of the engineer Medal, has in its manufacture. The theme is complemented by the historical context and the protagonist's connection with the events and famous names of the era. The work also describes the complete process of the production of a documentary film on the example of the proposed film "Designer".
