In my thesis I describe general view of European Union institutions, and their main goals. I did research in institutions history and time passing evolution, deep look in deeds of European Union and its organs. Obsahom mojej bakalárskej práce je všeobecná charakteristika inštitúcií Európskej únie, základných cieľov Únie nielen vo všeobecnosti, ale aj v konkrétnych podobách pri jej jednotlivých inštitúciách. Zaoberal som sa postupným vývojom týchto inštitúcií, ich pôsobnosťou a jednotným inštitucionálnym rámcom, v ktorom fungujú.
