Specialized vocabulary used in medicine

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se zabýváme lexikem užívaným v lékařském prostředí. Výstupem dotazníkového šetření je slovník zdravotnického slangu, který obsahuje 385 výrazů. Výzkum proběhl v Nemocnici Valašské Meziříčí, a. s., a Vsetínské nemocnici, a. s., zúčastnili se ho zdravotničtí pracovníci s minimálně roční praxí. Sběr materiálu se uskutečnil na anesteziologicko-resuscitačním, chirurgickém, interním a gynekologicko-porodním oddělení. Součástí práce je teoretická část, ve které jsme stratifikovali český národní jazyk, specifikovali jsme lexikum užívané mezi zdravotníky a zmínili způsoby tvoření zdravotnického slangu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the lexicon used in the medical environment. The output of the questionnaire survey is a dictionary of medical slang, which contains 385 expressions. The research was conducted in the hospitals Nemocnice Valašské Meziříčí, a. s., and Vsetínská nemocnice, a. s., and attended by health workers with at least one year of experience. The collection of material took place mainly at the departments of anaesthesiology and resuscitation, surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, and the medical ward. The thesis includes a theoretical part, where we stratified the Czech national language, we specified the lexicon used among medical staff in the health-care environment and mentioned the ways the medical slang is created.
