Exports of Budweiser Budvar during Coronavirus Crisis in Year 2020

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá exporty Budějovického Budvaru za koronavirové krize v roce 2020. Hlavními cíli práce je zjistit, jak koronavirus ovlivnil export piva Budějovického Budvaru a jak koronavirus ovlivnil práci zaměstnanců Budějovického Budvaru na oddělení exportu. Vedlejším cílem práce potom je zjistit, zda existuje spojitost mezi tím, jak stouply nebo poklesly tržby z exportu v daném regionu, a tím, jak člen exportního týmu Budvaru, který má daný region na starosti, zvládl koronavirovou krizi. První kapitola se věnuje hlavně koronavirové krizi ve světě a způsobu, jak ji z hlediska managementu firmy zvládnout. Druhá kapitola se už zabývá exporty Budějovického Budvaru a členy jeho exportního týmu. V práci bylo zjištěno, že koronavirus měl na Budějovický Budvar a jeho exporty sice negativní vliv, ale podnik se s ním dokázal vypořádat velmi dobře.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with exports of Budweiser Budvar during coronavirus crisis in year 2020. The first main aim of this thesis is to investigate, how coronavirus effected export of Budweiser Budvar beer. The second main aim is to investigate how coronavirus effected members of Budweiser Budvar export team. The secondary aim is to find out if there is a relationship between ability of a certain Budvar export team member to do his job during coronavirus crisis and growth/decline of sales in the area he is responsible for. First chapter deals with coronavirus crisis in the world and with the options how cope with this crisis from company management point of view. Second chapter deals with exports of Budweiser Budvar and with members of its export team. In this thesis was found that Budweiser Budvar was affected by coronavirus, but the company handled this situation very well.
