Dlouhodobě se diskutuje o morálním statusu zvířat, lidí ve vegetativním stavu či embryí, a přeneseně pak o jejich případném nositelství práv. There is a long-standing debate about the moral status of animals, humans in a vegetative state, or embryos, and by extension about their possible rights.
