Methodical proposal for the primary distribution planning system (TMS)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vývoj nového informačního systému pro řízení dopravy v daném podniku. Cílem této práce je vytvořit metodický návrh nového řešení informačních systémů v oblasti dopravy. V první části je představen podnik, ve kterém byla práce zpracovávaná, Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. Druhá část se zaměřuje na teoretická východiska problematiky informačních systémů s podrobnějším zaměřením na oblast distribuce, a především na transport management system. Následuje pasáž rozboru současného stavu řízení dopravy v podniku. Na základě analýzy současného stavu jsou vytipovaná kritická místa, kterými jsou spolupráce a komunikace mezi oddělením dispečinku CTPD a smluvními dopravci a proces zpracování zákaznických objednávek. V obou případech je navrženým řešením implementace portálu, který by usnadňoval proces, zrychloval komunikaci a omezoval vzniku chyb lidského faktoru při manuálním přepisu dat. V následujících dvou kapitolách je sepsána zadávací dokumentace a představen grafický prototyp těchto řešení, vytvořený v software Adobe XD. Na závěr této práce je provedeno zhodnocení navrhovaných řešení a vyčíslena doba návratnosti investic, jež se i při minimální lidské chybovosti pohybuje v řádech měsíců. Proto je navrhované řešení pro společnost doporučením a výstup z této diplomové práce by mohl posloužit jako zadání pro programátory na vývoj navrhovaných portálů.

Abstract:

This master's thesis is focusing on the development of a new informational system for directing logistics in a particular company. The aim of this thesis is to develop a methodical draft of a new solution for informational system in logistics. The first part is focused on the introduction of the company Pilsner Urquell which this thesis is based on. The second part is focused on the theoretical part of the informational systems, mainly focusing on the distribution and transport management system. The analysis of the current state of the directing logistics in the company follows. The analysis is used to pinpoint the critical areas that are the cooperation and communication between the dispatch CTPD department and the contract carriers, and the processing of customer orders. In both cases there are proposed solutions of implementation of the portal which would facilitate the process, accelerate the communication and limit the man-made mistakes done while transcribing the data. The next two chapters contain the entering documentation and the introduction of graphical prototype of these solutions created in Adobe XD. The last part of this thesis is the evaluation of the proposed solutions and the calculation of the return of the investments which should be achieved in a couple of months. The solution is a recommendation for the company and the result of this thesis could provide the base for the IT technicians in the development of the proposed portals.
