Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na katechol-O-methyltransferázu (COMT), esenciální enzym detoxifikace katechol estrogenů. Dříve byla v naší studii identifikována významná upregulace COMT ve více migrujícím klonu MDA-MB-231 buněčné linie ve srovnání s rodičovskou rakovinnou buněčnou linií MDA-MB-231, což vedlo k hypotéze vztahu mezi proteinem COMT a metastatickým fenotypem. Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT), an essential enzyme of the catechol estrogen detoxification. Previously, significant upregulation of COMT in a more migrating clone of MDA-MB-231 cell line compared to the parental MDA-MB-231 cancer cell line was identified in our study, leading to a hypothesis of COMT association with the metastatic phenotype.
