The aim of the folowing thesis is to introduce the problem of the current language situation in Brittany to the Czech and wordwide public. The Brittany is a French region distinguished by a particularly interesting language situation: Its a region with two local languages (the celtic breton in the western part and the romance gallo in the eastern). Tato práce si klade za cíl zpřístupnit českému i zahraničnímu publiku problematiku aktuální jazykové situace v Bretani. Bretaň je francouzský region vyznačující se zajímavou sociolingvistickou situací. Jedná se o region se dvěma regionálními jazyky (keltská bretonština v západní části a románské gallo ve východní).
