Abstract:

Predmetom tejto bakalárskej práce je filmové dielo Stevena Spielberga s dôrazom na film s názvom Blízke stretnutia tretieho druhu. Práca chce ukázať význam filmových motívov pre filmové dielo a ich úlohu pre diváka. Na jednej strane majú motívy pomôcť divákovi orientovať sa v rozprávaní, v štruktúre a významoch diela, a pomáhajú pochopiť ho. Na druhej strane ponúkajú divákovi niečo viac ako len súbor jednotlivých faktov. Fak-ty i príbeh sú dôležité, ale môžeme ich prostredníctvom motívov sprehľadniť, umožniť tak ich pochopenie, dať im hlbší význam a zatraktívniť ich pre diváka. Filmové dielo realitu nielen zaznamenáva, ale ju aj osobitým spôsobom odráža a reprodukuje. Filmový obraz vždy naznačuje niečo viac, ako vidíme. Využitie nejednoznačného spôsobu zobrazovania vychádza zo samotnej prirodzenosti ľudského vnímania. Divák má prirodzenú potrebu hľadať v tom, čo vidí, nejaký význam. Bakalárska práca využíva heuristickú metódu, ktoré pomáha vyriešiť skúmanú problematiku a dosiahnuť stanovené ciele.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is concentrated on Steven Spielberg´s film Works, with the ac-cent on his movie named Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Thesis wants to show im-portance of using the film themes /motives in film works and their role for audience. On the one hand the motives/themes helps viewers to find their orientations in narrative level of film, in its structure and meanings of art´s work. They help to understand the story. On the other hand they offer something more than just a set of individual facts. Facts as well as the story are important but they can be clarified through themes/motives, thus enabling their understanding, giving them a deeper meaning and more interesting to wiewer. Film work not only records the reality, it also reflects it and by special way reproduces it. The film´s image always suggests something more than we can see. Using of ambigious moda-lities of visual display is based on the very nature human perception. The viewer has a natural need to look at vhat he can see, as something significant.
