Social work with family systems with children with disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem práce s rodinným systémem v kontextu sociálnípráce s rodinou a dítětem s postižením. Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy rodina a dítě se zdravotním postižením, rodinný systém a přibližujeproblematiku vnímání zdravotního postižení v kontextu rodiny, reakce rodičů napostižení dítěte a život se sourozencem se zdravotním postižením. Dále násseznamuje s pozicí sociálního pracovníka a nástroji, které má k dispozici při svépráci s rodinnými systémy s dětmi s postižením, etickými dilematy, potřebouvzdělávání a zdůrazňuje důležitost psychohygieny, jako klíčového nástroje propředcházení syndromu vyhoření. Pro výzkumné šetření byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie formou polostrukturovanýchrozhovorů se sociálními a dalšími odbornými pracovníky, kteří spolupracujís rodinami v otázkách poskytování sociálních služeb a poskytují terapie rodináms dítětem s postižením. Cílem bylo zjistit, jak sociální a další odbornípracovníci pracují s rodinnými systémy s dětmi s postižením a jakým způsobem přisvé práci využívají systemický přístup.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of work with the family system in a social contextwork with families and children with disabilities. The theoretical part defines the concepts of family and child with disabilities, family system and approximatesthe issue of the perception of disability in the context of the family, parents' reactions toa child's disability and living with a sibling with a disability. Next usintroduces the position of a social worker and the tools available to him/herwork with family systems with children with disabilities, ethical dilemmas, neededucation and emphasizes the importance of psychohygiene as a key tool forpreventing burnout. A qualitative research strategy in the form of semi-structured was used for the research investigationinterviews with social workers and other professionals who work togetherwith families in the provision of social services and provide therapy to familieswith a child with a disability. The thesis was focused on to find out how social and other professionalworkers work with family systems with children with disabilities and in what waythey use a systemic approach to their work.
