Abstract:
Streptococcus agalactiae je vedoucí příčina vážných novorozeneckých infekcí obvykle se projevující přítomností sepse, pneumoinie nebo meningitidy. Zatím jedinou možností, jak těmto infekcím předcházet je podání antibiotik matkám v době porodu, jenž byly v předporodním screeningu pozitivní. Streptococcus agalactiae is a leading cause of serious neonatal infection usually present with sepsis, pneumonia, or meningitis. So far only possibility, how prevent those infection is administrate antibiotics mothers at the time of delivery, which were positive in prenatal screening.
