Urbanonymy of city of Pilsen. Changes of names of streets, squares and public spaces in time.

Abstract:

Předložená práce je zaměřena na urbanonymii města Plzně a zkoumaná ji v časových meznících 1924 a 2015. Práce se zabývá proměnami názvů urbanonym. Zkoumá jejich motiv a frekvenci pojmenování a zařazuje je podle vytvořených klasifikačních tříd. Zjištěné změny v názvech urbanonym jsou znázorněny pomocí tabulek, grafů a vytvořených mapových listů. V první části vysvětluje a vymezuje používanou terminologii, uvádí vytvořenou klasifikace a historický vývoj města Plzně. Druhá část obsahuje přehled názvů a jejich pojmenovávací motiv a klasifikační skupinu. Bakalářská práce popisuje četnost a okolnosti změn urbanonymních názvů.

Abstract:

The submitted thesis is focused on the city of Pilsen's urbanonymy examined in time milestone between years 1924 and 2015. This thesis is dealing with changes of names of urbanonyms. It examines their motives and frequency of naming and listing them according to the established classes. Observed changes in the names urbanonyms are displayed in tables and map sheets. The first part explains and defines used terminology, presents a classification and historical development of the city of Pilsen. The second part contains a list of names and their motive and a classification group. Bachelor thesis describes the frequency and circumstances in changes of urbanonyms names.
