Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na použití metadat v prostředí Self-Service Business Intelli-gence. Metadata jsou strukturovaná data popisující jiná data. Obsahují informace o původu, účelu, umístění, obsahu dat a jiné. Hlavní výhoda self-service nástrojů spočívá v tom, že výstupy (reporty, vizualizace dat atp.) si vytváří sám koncový uživatel podle vlastních krité-rií a požadavků. Cílem práce je stručně …more

This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of metadata in an environment of Self-Service Business Intelligence. Metadata are structured data that contain information used to de-scribe other data. They contain information about the origin, purpose, location, content and other properties of said data.
