Gothic churches in the Silesia-moravian Foothills.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá slohovým charakterem gotických kostelů v podbeskydí a jejich chronologickým zařazením. Oblast výzkumu je poměrně široká, od Podbeskydské pahorkatiny k levému břehu řeky Odry, což jsou oblasti spjaté především s kolonizačními aktivitami olomouckých biskupů a rodu pánů z Kravař. Výzkum se vztahuje jak na městské, tak i na venkovské a okrajové stavby. Celkový výčet staveb je značně variabilní a široce datovatelný, tj. od druhé poloviny 13. století do závěru 16. století. Práce vyústila ke komparaci sakrálních stavebních dispozic, formálních znaků a jejich chronologickému zařazení. Práce obsahuje katalog a fotodokumentaci.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with a formal character of the Gothic churches in Podbeskydí and their chronological classification. The area of research has a quite wide range, from Podbeskydí to the western part of Odra, which are areas associated primarily with the colonizing activities of the Olomouc bishops and the Lords of Krawarn. The total list of the sacral buildings is quite variable and broadly datable, within the period between the second half of the 13th century and the late 16th century. The formal comparison resulted into the sacral building layouts, formal chof aracteristics and their chronological classification. The work includes a catalog of all gothic churches in the region and their photo documentation.
