The Municipal Auditor Expediture Reporting

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá posouzením výstupů různých forem auditů při přezkoumání hospodaření obce, včetně reakce dané obce na výsledky auditu. Vymezuje definice pojmů audit, kontrola a přezkoumání, jejich cíle a uživatele informací z těchto zpráv. Největší pozornost věnuje přezkoumání hospodaření v ČR, zejména srovnání výstupů z přezkoumání hospodaření krajským úřadem a soukromými auditory. Dále věnuje pozornost reakcím obcí na výsledky přezkoumání hospodaření obcí, proč některé obce volí placený audit a zda jsou informace ve zprávách o přezkoumání hospodaření obce dostačující.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis assesses the final results of different types of municipal auditor expenditure reporting including the response to audit results of any given municipality. It defines the terms audit, inspection and inquiry, their objective and specifies the end users of these inquiries. The majority of the author’s attention centred at expenditure reporting in Czech Republic, particularly the comparison between the expenditure reporting results obtained by the regional office and private auditors. The work also deals with the municipality response to municipal expenditure reporting. Further on it clarifies the reasons of municipalities for a paid audit choice and whether the municipal expenditure inquiries reports obtained are sufficient.
