The development of reading comprehension in everyday teaching third grade of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na rozvoj dovednosti čtení s porozuměním u žáků třetí třídy základní školy hlavního vzdělávacího proudu prostřednictvím metod a složek dramatické výchovy. Práce je tradičně členěna na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. Obsah teoretických kapitol se vztahuje k východiskům výzkumného projektu. První kapitola pojednává o fenoménech čtení, čtenářské gramotnosti, dětského čtenářství a o vztahu čtení s porozuměním k oboru logopedie. Druhá kapitola vysvětluje pojem dramatická výchova a postavení tohoto oboru v konceptu vzdělávání na základní škole a shrnuje interdisciplinární vztahy s výukou českého jazyka a oborem logopedie. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na čtení jako praktickou dovednost. Zahrnuje možnosti výuky prvopočátečnímu čtení, charakteristiku dítěte mladšího školního věku, mapuje oblast čtenářských strategií a některé doplňující učební materiály k výuce čtení s porozuměním na 1. stupni základního vzdělávání. Praktická část práce popisuje přípravu, realizaci a závěry výzkumného šetření na jedné ze základních škol Kraje Vysočina. Obsahuje charakteristiku místa šetření, výzkumných nástrojů a strukturu práce během experimentu. Výzkum je kvalitativního charakteru, výsledky pretestu a posttestu jsou zpracovány kvantitativně. Šetření používá metody experimentu, participujícího pozorovatele, ankety a zpětnovazební reakce na základě strukturovaných témat.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the development of reading comprehension skills of pupils in the third grade of elementary mainstream schools using the methods and ingredients of drama education. The work is traditionally divided into theoretical and research part. The content of the theoretical chapters relate to the background of the research project. The first chapter deals with the phenomenon of reading, literacy, children's reading and reading comprehension related to the field of speech therapy. The second chapter explains the concept of drama education, the status field in the concept of education in elementary school and summarizes interdisciplinary relationships with teaching the Czech language and speech therapy. The third chapter focuses on reading as a practical skill. Includes primordial teaching reading options, characteristics of young school age, map of the area of ​​reading strategies and some supplementary teaching materials for teaching reading comprehension on the first stage of basic education. The practical part describes the preparation, implementation and conclusions of the research at one of the elementary schools in Vysočina region. It contains the characteristics of the investigation, research tools and structure work during the experiment. The research is qualitative in nature, the results of pretest and posttest are processed quantitatively. Investigations uses the methods of the experiment, participatory observer, surveys and feedback response based on structured topics.
