Proposal of AGV Implementation for the Selected Process

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou implementace a využití automaticky naváděných vozíků, tzv. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), v prostředí vybrané společnosti. Úvodní část práce je věnována teoretickým východiskům problematiky, ale také základním principům fungování AGV a přehledu dostupných technologií. V praktické části této práce je podrobně popsána a analyzována vybraná společnost. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na představení současného stavu procesu zavážení hotové výroby a na popis používané manipulační techniky. Následuje detailní SWOT analýza dosažitelnosti implementace AGV pro vybraný proces. Dále obsahuje podrobné vyhodnocení výběrového řízení dodavatele AGV. Finální část je zaměřena na plánování tras pro AGV a na výpočet potřebného počtu vozidel pro různé varianty navrhované automatizace procesu. Současně je vyhodnocena potenciální návratnost investic a navrženo vhodné řešení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation and use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in the environment of a selected company. The introductory part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical background of the issue, but also to the basic principles of AGV operation and an overview of available technologies. In the practical part of this thesis, the selected company is described and analyzed in detail. Particular emphasis is placed on the presentation of the current condition of the finished goods handling process and the description of the handling equipment used. This is followed by a detailed SWOT analysis of the achievability of AGV implementation for the selected process. It includes a detailed evaluation of the AGV supplier selection process. The final part focuses on route planning for AGVs and the calculation of the number of vehicles required for the different variants of the proposed process automation. At the same time, the potential return on investment is evaluated and a suitable solution is proposed.
