Problematic of ocular nystagmus and its types

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou očního nystagmu a jeho typy. Práce se skládá z několika částí. Nejdříve jsou popsány okohybné svaly, jejich funkce a inervace. Dále jsou zmíněny malé a velké oční pohyby společně se základními poznámkami týkající se fyziologických pohybů bulbů. Hlavní část práce se věnuje samotnému nystagmu. Jsou zde popsány jeho příčiny, projevy i rozdělení. Dále práce pokračuje podrobným rozebráním všech typů nystagmu. V neposlední řadě je zde zmíněn i optometristický pohled na danou problematiku.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with problems of eye nystagmus and its types. This thesis consists of several parts. Innervation, In the beginning starting with chapter extraocular muscles, their function and innervation are described. In the next part are mentioned small and big ocular movements and also basic notes about physiological movements of bulbus oculi. Main part of this thesis deals with the nystagmus. There are described causes, signs and classification of the nystagmus. Of course, there is detailed description of all types of the nystagmus. Last but not least this thesis mentions an optometry perspective to the problematic of nystagmus.
