Using supported exercises in patients with disc herniation in lumbar spine and radiculopathy

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou výhřezu meziobratlové ploténky v bederní oblasti společně s kořenovým drážděním a jejím ovlivněním pomocí vzporových cvičení. V teoretické části je popsána funkční anatomie páteře a meziobratlové ploténky, kineziologie a patokineziologie bederní páteře, bederní kořenové syndromy, hluboký stabilizační systém, koncept metody Roswithy Brunkow a Akrální koaktivační terapie, která vychází z poznatků Roswithy Brunkow a dále je rozšiřuje. Praktická část je věnována kazuistikám pacientů s výhřezem meziobratlové ploténky v bederní oblasti a kořenovým drážděním. Jsou zde uvedeny klinické testy, které potvrzují diagnózu, jednotlivé cviky z terapie s fotodokumentací, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán, nácvik správných pohybových stereotypů a subjektivní pocity pacienta. V závěru práce je hodnocen přínos terapie pro pacienta na základě výstupního kineziologického vyšetření.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the issue of a slipped disc in the lumbar area, along with a root irritation and the impact of using supported exercises. The theoretical part describes the functional anatomy of the spine and intervertebral disc, kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the lumbar spine, lumbar root syndromes, deep stabilization system, the concept by Roswitha Brunkow and Acral coactivation therapy, which is based on knowledge of Roswitha Brunkow and extends it. The practical part is devoted to case reports of patients with slipped intervertebral disc in the lumbar area and root irritation. There are presented the clinical tests that confirm the diagnosis, individual exercises of therapy with photographs, short-term and long-term rehabilitation plan, practicing correct movement stereotypes and subjective feelings of the patient. In the conclusion benefits of the therapy for the patient are assessed based on the output kinesiology examination.
