Growth of silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) plantations in different conditions of the Urban forests Česká Lípa.

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analyzovat růst jedle bělokoré (Abies alba Mill.) v závislosti na stanovištních podmínkách (zejména přístupu světla) a způsobech ochrany před zvěří v lesních porostech na území Městských lesů Česká Lípa, s.r.o. Na základě těchto výsledků je dalším cílem práce navrhnout optimální postupy při zakládání nových výsadeb jedle a definovat zásady provádění výchovných zásahů. Tato práce je založena na hodnocení růstu a vitality již provedených výsadeb jedle bělokoré, které byly v městských lesích zakládány již od roku 2000. Výsledkem práce je zjištění optimálních podmínek pro odrůstání jedle, v závislostech na různých způsobech ochrany a různých způsobech zakládání výsadeb. Provedené analýzy potvrdily, že nejvhodnější ekologické podmínky pro odrůstání v juvenilní fázi vývoje má jedle pod clonou porostu. Součástí práce je bilancování úspěšnosti výsadeb, analýza finanční náročnosti a návrh pěstebních opatření v budoucích letech.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the growth of silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) on depending on the site conditions (in particular, the access of light) and the means of protection against game in the selected forest stands on the territory of the Urban forests Česká Lípa, s. r. o. The proposal of optimal procedures for the establishment of new silver fir plantations and the principles of young fir stands tending are another goals of this thesis. This work is based on the evaluation of the growth and vitality of existingsilver fir plantations, which were established in urban forests since the year 2000. The result of the work is finding the optimum conditions for the growth of fir, in dependency on the different ways of game protection and the various management methods for the establishment of new plantations. The performed analyzes have confirmed that the best environmental conditions for fir recruitment in juvenile stage is under stand canopy The balancing of the plantation success, financial analysis and design of silvicultural measures in future years are final components of this thesis.
