Communication skills of paramedics with people with hearing impairment.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabýváme problematikou komunikace obecně, ale především komunikací osob se sluchovým postižením. Komunikačními dovednostmi zdravotnických záchranářů. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou, ve které popisuji komunikaci, řeč a její historii, sluch, vady sluchu, způsoby, kterými mohou komunikovat osoby se sluchovým postižením, technické kompenzační pomůcky, které sluchově postižení mohou užívat. Jaké jsou možnosti tlumočnických služeb pro osoby se sluchovým postižením a také jak komunikovat s osobou se sluchovým postižením? Cílem praktické části bylo zjistit, jak zdravotničtí záchranáři komunikují s osobou se sluchovým postižením. Jak se dorozumívají osoby se sluchovým postižením s posádkami záchranné služby, jejich spokojeností s úrovní komunikačních dovedností zdravotnických záchranářů při společné komunikaci. Zjištění bylo prováděno pomocí anonymních dotazníků a osobním setkáváním s osobami se sluchovým postižením.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis, I deal with the topic of communication in general but mainly with the communication of people with hearing impairment and communication skills of paramedics. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, where are described communication, speech, and its history, hearing, hearing impairments, ways in which people with hearing impairment can communicate, technical compensatory aids that can be used by people with impaired hearing. What are the possibilities of interpreting services for people with hearing impairment and how to communicate with someone with hearing impairment? The target of the practical part was to find out how paramedics communicate with a person with hearing impairment. How people with hearing impairment interact with rescue service crews, their satisfaction with the level of communication skills of paramedics in mutual communication. The findings were made using anonymous questionnaires and personal encounters with people with hearing impairment.
