Analysis of current migration in Europe

Abstract:

Migrace v Evropě je jev, jenž je stále více pod drobnohledem nejen demografů, statistiků, ale i státních příslušníků a organizací Evropských zemí. Tato práce bude zkoumat co to migrace vůbec je, její historický původ, dlouhodobý vývoj a nynější vliv na Evropu spolu se zeměmi z kterých migrace plyne. Dále se pak bude práce věnovat opatřením, které státy vůči migraci uskutečňují. Analytická část se skládá ze způsobu sběru dat, kdo vše data sbírá, jejich srovnání. Určení možných důvodů nekvalitně získaných dat či rizik, které různé druhy sběru dat mohou obsahovat. Hlavním sledovaným ukazatelem bude počet migrantů pohybujících se přes daná území a jejich demografické charakteristiky, včetně vizualizace migračních cest jak pevninských, tak mořských.Výsledek práce nám pak ukáže metody sledování, porovnání, zda má politika vliv na migraci nebo jestli vznikají určité trendy vůči politice. Dále se pak pokusíme nastínit možný vývoj migrace a její dopady na demografickou strukturu a ekonomický vliv.

Abstract:

Migration in Europe is a phenomenon that is increasingly under the scrutiny of not only demographers, statisticians, but also nationals and organizations of European countries. This thesis will examine what migration is, historical origin, long-term development and current impact on Europe along with the countries from which migration results. Furthermore, the thesis will focus on the measures that states implement to migration.The analytical part consists of the method of data collection, who collects all data, their comparison. Identify possible reasons for poor quality data or risks that different types of data collection may contain. The main indicator to be monitored the number of migrants moving across the territories and their demographic characteristics, including the visualization of both land and sea migration routes.The result of the thesis will then show us methods of monitoring, comparing whether the policy affects migration or whether there are certain trends towards the policy. Furthermore, we will try to outline the possible development of migration and impact on demographic structure and economic impact.
