Abstract:
The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the media representation of Ukrainian immigrants in British and Czech online newspaper articles. The analysis is conducted by using the Critical Discourse Analysis approach used by Teun A. van Dijk, which focuses on differences in power between groups in society that manifest in media discourse.
